Some of the music nominated for this year’s Soul Train Awards includes Cover Drive’s “Bajan Style,” Damien “Junior Gong” Marley’s “SuperHeavy,” Jimmy Cliff’s “Rebirth,” Matisyahu’s “Spark Seeker,” and Sean Paul’s “Tomahawk Technique.”

Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston picked up posthumous nominations for the 2012 Soul Train Awards. The late greats are honored for “Our Day Will Come” for Best International Performance, while Houston’s “Celebrate” — her duet with Jordan Sparks from the film “Sparkle” — garnered a nod for Best Gospel International Performance. R. Kelly is nominated for two awards at this year’s Soul Train Awards, making him the most nominated act ever at the awards show.
